Product Description

What is it?

XTRAX on the Web is the Internet version of XTRAX.

How does it work?

Any PC or Macintosh computer can access the power of XTRAX by connecting to an XTRAX on the WEB server via the Internet. The XTRAX bar code scanner also connects to the server via the Internet (through a workstation). Using Microsoft's terminal server technology, XTRAX is available anytime and anywhere, even the show floor.

What are the benefits?

  • No hardware investment other than bar code scanner(s) and bar code printer(s)
  • No software investment -- all software is included
  • No IT or database personnel required -- all software setup and support is included
  • Fees are usage-based  -- initial fees are very low, the organization can "grow" into it
  • All programming and data is compatible with XTRAX -- start with XTRAX on the WEB and later convert to XTRAX
  • XTRAX on the WEB is based on XTRAX Tracker SQL and supports multiple warehousing sites

What are the System Requirements?

  • Internet access
  • PC with Internet Explorer and ActiveX execution enabled (RDC software optional)
  • Macintosh with RDC software
  • Ports 3389 and 9393 open on firewall

What included?

  • Shared server with access for 2 users (no additional users can be added -- upgrade to dedicated server)
  • Dedicated server with access for 4 users (additional users can be added in increments of 5)
  • Server software support -- backups, updates, security patches
  • Application updates
  • Technical support
